"We offer two bathhouse locations: Onsen “Yurari” with outdoor “rotenburo” hot springs, saunas and family sized tubs and Kurhaus Resort “Omer” where you can enjoy our indoor spa year round in a bathing suit. Each has a view of the 5 peaks of Aso and the rim of the outer crater. Even if you are not staying over as a guest of the hotel, you are welcome to visit the onsen and spa. "

Rosy dawn, sunny blue skies, twilight glow, starry skies—the ceiling pattern shifts among 6 patterns every 10 minutes to represent the changes of the day and create a relaxing atmosphere. There are multitudes of ways to relax and enjoy this universally designed concept space, including open-air bathing and family bathing.

Yurari Hot Spring Facility Private Rental Hot Springs (family bathing)

Enjoy some peaceful time spent alone with family or as a couple.

We have three baths for private rental: Star, Dream, and Healing. The “Healing" bath supports wheelchair users and caregivers enjoying the hot spring waters together. Reservations are required for use of the private rental hot spring baths. Please ask at reception.

Hotel guests: 2000 yen for 50 minutes (reservation required)

Scenic view hot spring (for overnight guests only)

Immersed yourself in exquisite hot water while enjoying sweeping panoramic views of Aso

The scenic view hot spring is located on the third floor of the main Honkan building, and boasts a spacious tubs and fantastic views.
From the bathhouse, guests enjoy views of Aso’s Mt. Neko and Mt. Taka, with magnificent natural surroundings spreading forth like a panorama.
